It’s Room Music, by Luca Perciballi and Ivan Valentini, the first playing classic and electric guitar, banjo, objects, the last on soprano and alto sax and objects.
It is made of nine takes from a single improvised session without any edit or overdub.
It represents a new chapter of the consolidated collaboration that fuels The Black Box Theory project.
Perciballi’s non-idiomatic guitar and Valentini’s saxophones face each other without inhibitions around the visions and intuitions of both musicians, they mirror each other and question each other about the possible meanings of forms and emptiness, sound and silence, alternating sensory perceptions and mental states in a continuous flow.
